Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen has been scratched from the starting lineup after he was hit by a ball in the lower abdomen during batting practice. McCutchen was in the field when he was hit by a line drive before Monday night’s game at Milwaukee. The Pirates say the injury doesn’t appear to be serious and the All-Star is day to day.
