Norris strikes out 14, Pence helps Astros in win

Bud Norris had a career-high 14 strikeouts and Hunter Pence homered and drove in the tiebreaking run, leading the Houston Astros to a 3-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday night. Pence homered in the fourth and had and RBI double in the seventh inning, and Norris (5-7) survived a shaky first inning to beat the Pirates at Minute Maid Park for the eighth straight time this season.
