Bud Norris had a career-high 14 strikeouts and Hunter Pence homered and drove in the tiebreaking run, leading the Houston Astros to a 3-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday night. The Colorado Rockies optioned infielder Chris Nelson to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Sunday, clearing roster space for right-hander Esmil Rogers to be recalled to start against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
